One of my favorite movies from childhood, because it was freaking scary. "Pure Imagination" is a brilliant song, and it's beautifully presented here. Gene Wilder's Wonka is every jaded queen's dream persona, and the freaky 70s graphics are still effective. Charlie, whatever happened to Charlie? 12/00 |
