The official site for BMW North America. Build your BMW 330cic shows
you how your car will look, but otherwise the site is pretty useless. Owners Circle section is almost never updated and provides minimal value, in case you thought you were missing something.

Personal site of an owner with multiple BMWs and a wide array of other sports cars. Excellent photograpy. Liaw also maintains Big BMW Links |
| Brian Brown's Shifting Techniques Page |
An excellent personal site with clearest instructions on advanced shifting techniques I've ever read: heel and toe, double clutching, rev matching, etc. |
| BMW 330ci.com |
Good selection of upgrade information. Information about the site owner's 330ci. Impressive collection of Do It Yourself (DIY) projects, which have detailed instructions. Member sites, message board. Link info updated 06/14/02 |

The E46 message board is by far the best source I've found for information from actual owners, most
of whom have excellent (and accurate) information on pricing, accessories, mechanical
problems and fixes, etc. |

Online BMW Forum, message boards and discussion,

Enthusiast website community for BMW owners and fans. |
| BMW Nation |
A British site with interesting if infrequently updated coverage on new BMW models and changes to existing models. |
| BMW Planet |
More message boards, but again not as good as bimmer.org. Top
50 BMW links section is a good place for an overview of what
is available on the Web (not a lot, it turns out) |
| BMW World |
Well-presented site with general BMW information and an excellent page of links. |

Information on how you can care for any type of convertible top.
Thanks for the link, Fritz.

Updated. Home of the E46 FAQ, probably the single most comprehensive source of information.
Nice selection of reviews, but bulletin board is difficult to surf through. Offers free webspace for posting pics.

Updated info submitted by Fred from San Francisco
They recently revamped the dealership. Most cars are still kept indoors in the warehouse, but sales and service are in
the adjacent building. New digs looks sharp and service has taken a huge leap forward in efficiency and courtesy. They still offer
free loaners if you request / insist. Sales staff is friendly and knowlegeable, but I got a better deal elsewhere. During my most
recent service visit for a smog check, they made it clear that although I was not buying my new car from them, they would be more than happy to service it. I like that! Parts department is good too - they offer a 10% discount for cca members (see

More dealer news submitted by Fred from San Francisco (many thanks, Fred)

San Francisco BMW
Only experienced sales, and they were terrible. I talked to a sales person who did not deal with Euro delivery. She took my information and all the details on the car I wanted to order. She said the Euro delivery specialist would get back to me with a price. Never heard back from them.
Niello BMW (Sacramento)
This is where I ordered the car from. I did it online via a link found on the cca web site. I gave them the specs for the car I wanted, they emailed me back with a price within hours, and the deal was done. Price was $41,075 (before tax, license, etc...) for a 330 convertible with black sapphire met paint, natural brown leather, sport & premium pkgs, xenons, and heated seats. That works out to a couple thousand less than Euro MSRP, so I feel good about the deal. I dealt with Demi Lemarquand and he has been great througout the entire process.
East Bay BMW (Pleasanton)
Not too fond of them. Price gouging on parts (I did a lot of my own maintenance on the previous cars.) Some parts such as filters were sometime half the price at Weatherford. Never figured out why... I was always afraid the same would apply to service, so I can't comment on that. Sales was OK. I was able to negotiate for less than MSRP on a 330 coupe, but once I decided on a convertible instead, there was no budging from the Euro delivery MSRP. I walked away.
