This time I have an excellent excuse. I was sent to Hyderabad, India on an emergency business trip for two weeks, so I didn't drive the car much.

Literally an hour before I was supposed to leave for the airport (SFO), I got a flat tire and had to call AAA. The rear passenger tire had "torn" along one side and was completely flat. The good news is that I wasn't on the freeway.

After some minor problems replacing the tire (the guy accidentally popped the side airdam off of the car at one point), I limped on the spare to SFO.

After getting back from India, I had all four tires replaced. This time, I went with a cheaper tire (about half the cost of the Bridgestone Potenza RE750s with a much softer ride.

I give up my reservation for a SMART car convertible that I'd placed last year. I suppose I should have tried to sell my position on the list, but after seeing how tippy those cars look it felt immoral.
