Some updates on convertible top wear, the dangers of parking lots, and other miscellany.

The convertible top, as you can see below, has noticeable wearing along the front edge. I'm not sure if this is from going through car washes or if it's just because it rubs against whatever is holding it in place when the top rises/falls.

The rear of the top seems perfectly fine after five years of California.

The reason why you should avoid parking in downtown San Mateo. Small (2"-3") scrape on a corner of the bumper.
