The hood is looking very nice, the trunk less so. You can't really see it in these photos, but there's a slight "stippling" on my trunk lid. The hood, by contrast, is perfectly smooth. The sides look about the same.

Reflections are of my neighbor's fence. Note the clarity of the reflection.

I'm taking a break from further coats of Zaino for now. It's easy enough to use, but I think that it works better (looks "wetter") on darker cars. On steel blue, it just looks nicely shiny. Compare these to the photos on zainobros.com

Response to a visitor's question about whethere the passenger's side armrest with the wood trim has a plastic plug where the mirror controls would be on a right-side steering model.

Vibration at 80 mph and thereabouts gets worse. Another 330 owner posted the exact same problem on www.bimmer.org, so I'll have them fix it during my next check up in about 460 miles.

NOTE: Dealerships can accept your car for scheduled maintenance if it's within 1,000 miles of when the computer says it's time to take it in.
