| July 1 | Problem with my front alignment after hitting a huge pothole in San Jose. Steering wheel now vibrates at speeds above 80 mph. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 6 | My boss discovers the first major interior damage: a 1/4" tear on the side of the front driver's seat. It looks like a small pointed stick (or high heel) hit the seat. I can only think that somehow I jammed the end of the wind deflector against the seat by accident. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I discover that my car isn't really designed for people over 6'4", which is strange given that I always thought Germans were tall in general. With two short women in the back, my 6'4" passenger knees were nearly touching his chest. Steering is getting a bit too loose for my liking, so it's going in the shop for an alignment next week. |
