Stevens Creek BMW
has added a handy online service reservation system, which
I used to book my appointment. It let's you choose your drop
off time, and all of them were available (read: the dealership's
service departments are hurting).
I really like my advisor from last time, Marc
La Bas, so I asked for him again and luckily/wisely he was
still there.

They also recommended...
- Replacing the oil level sensor, $478
- Replacing the power steering hose, $616
- Repairing the tail light wiring $553
- Replacing the fuel filter, $240
Total of recommended repairs: $1,887.
Kelly Blue Book on my car is $13K, so the repairs would be
15% of the value of the car. Hmmm... I may have the power steering
hose replaced at some point, but the other items can wait,
especially since I'll be saving up for my next car as soon
as I find a job.
