I came across your website when trying to decide which BMW
dealership to buy from and found myself rolling in hysterics.
You had me laughing outloud! I wanted to know more about you
and luckily found your personal site - you are a treat! =)
My husband said I should email you but hadn't until now
since I actually have a legit question to ask you. From pics
of your car it doesn't look as if you have tinted your windows
(and I know you have a convertible), but we were wondering
if you have anyone you'd recommend to do a tint job. We live
in San Mateo but are willing to drive for quality work. |
Hi Tracy,
Thanks for visiting my site and for the kind words. So, about
tinting...I don't have mine tinted, so I can't give you
first-hand referrals. I can ask around at the office
though since quite a few of the guys I work with are
car buffs.

Unfortunately, I don't have any leads for tinters. Apparently,
it's gone out of style with the boys on my team at work. Enjoy
the car. The really good weather is just around the corner.

I am looking at a 330 cic i want to buy i had a few choices
for a bmw but one of my final is the 2001 convertible 330ci,
is there anything i should be worried about in this car??
because i am going to buy and add a few things such as an intake,
strut bars, etc. make it a little better and better sound sytem
they say the sound system is not very good in this car?? |
Hi David,
There is nothing you should worry about the car. Since you're
getting a 2001, it should already have passed the auxiliary
fan test, which is the only recall on this model that
I know of.
Designing a sound system for any convertible is probably
a dubious venture. You will never really get the sound you
want if you're expecting exact reproduction. If you just
want it loud, that's easier. The stereo on my car (Harmon
Kardon system) is passable, but then I listen to the news
most of the time. |
