Noticed that there the front-most edge of the top is starting to show signs of wear, like fading on the seam of blue jeans. Photos to come.

Site statistics from Hitbox were discontinued, so at least you won't have to suffer through that little flashing banner along the bottom of the pages.

I originally posted this to help a visitor diagnose his problem, but he found his own answers. Thought you might be interested nonetheless:

Hello...at 30K miles the clutch of my 330cic has a slight catch or bump about 2/3 of the way to the floor. Intermittent...maybe half the depressions show this behavior. Have you heard others with this problem? Dealer warns that fix could cost me if clutch shows abuse. I don't ride it and have driven clutches or other cars for several 100K miles without repair or replacement. I hesitate to get dealer to check it out, since just the diagnosis could cost 500 if no defective part is found. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Follow up: I have now heard that there is a service bulletin that appears to reference my problem:
210101 FEB 02 M/T Popping/Clicking From Clutch Pedal. Apparently it does not affect service life (but is annoying nonetheless).
